Where to eat

Let’s explore the world of food together!

As much as I love to cook, I also love to try new restaurants and new dishes or new interpretations of a dish. I love to be curious when it comes to food, which is why I eat out regularly.

On top of that, I find that you only really get to know a place when you get to know it’s cuisine. It reveals so much about the people and their culture, what they consider to be special, the way they present food or what they consider comfort food. Traveling and getting to know other cultures and customs is something that is very important to me, and with that comes getting to know other foods, spices and dishes.

But even where I live, I enjoy finding the perfect little coffee place, the best bakery in the neighbourhood, a cool (wine-)bar, the go-to butcher, a comfy café or the favourite bistro. These are the things and places that make me truly feel at home.

So what is it you are looking for? Your next favourite restaurant or café close to home? Or rather what bistro or bar to check out on your next holiday?

This page is dedicated to help you (hopefully) find what you are looking for. Whether you are looking for a specific city of a type of cuisine, you can check out the list of places I have tried & approved so far and you can also read about the “flavour of the month” i.e. a place that I found special and wanted to share a bit more about with you!

Happy browsing!

Flavour of the Month

This month I want to introduce you to : Haco

This restaurant is one of the best places I have been to this year and I am grateful to have stumbled upon it.

Since I haven’t been living in Hamburg all that long and Corona has kept us all locked inside most of the year, I didn’t know about this gem until this summer. Thank god I do now!

Check out the full post to hear about their delicious 12-course-dinner…
